In Ravenous, the end fight was made up by actors Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle when the original scripted ending (which was to take place on the roof of the cabins at night while they were burning) was scrapped in favor of them just beating the hell out of each other. During this, the production ran out of fake blood.
It is 25 minutes into the film before Guy Pearce's lead character, who is in virtually every scene, utters his first full sentence.

When Guy Pearce was fifteen years old, he and a friend "pinched" a car. "We were down at the beach and we pinched a combi-van," he recalled. "We sort of drove around the block a few times, wondering why we weren't going very fast... We returned the van to the house that we pinched it from, because we were responsible thieves, and we realized that the hand brake was still on."

Guy Pearce once confused his older sister Tracey when he phoned her while she was watching him in the Aussie soap opera Neighbours.

During the filming of The Time Machine Guy broke a rib.

Was acosted by several shoppers in a Safeway market in Melbourne when some employee got the bright idea to announce Guy's presence over loudspeaker.

Guy Pearce was originally offered the role of Edmund Dantes in the Count of Monte Cristo. He also recieved a bad cut during the filming of the climatic fight scene.

Overzealous fans once stole his clothes from his washing line.

Jeff - at the Beverly Hilton
I happened to be staying at the Beverly Hilton the weekend of the Golden Globe Awards. The place was crawling with celebrities before and after the award ceremony. He looked so thin, he walked right by me unnoticed until someone else identified him. He was very nice and happy to pose for a picture.

I'm not sure if I'm remembering this right but ages ago (late 80's or very early 90's when he was on Home and Away), I used to live in Armadale (inner Melbourne suburb) Guy Pearce used to live in or around the area and I used to see him often walking down High Street. I've only run into him once, literally when I nearly plowed the poor man over walking out of a shop as he was either going in or walking past. Either way I nearly knocked him over. We both appologised to each other even though it was my fault and kept going. It wasn't until Prascilla came out that I even realised who he was. *blushes. And that was my Guy encounter!

Scout - Filming First Snow
I live in Albuquerque in a brand new subdivision and they came and filmed in one of the original model homes in my neighborhood. I never got to see Guy until the last day where they actually filmed the last scene of the movie right in front of our house! He was doing a scene where he was running up our street which he had to do over and over. I finally just went out and asked if I could get a picture with him when they finished and he was very sweet and just asked to do it fast so he didn't get a bunch of people coming out asking for more pictures. We met Guy and saw Sienna and Simon Wells. We worked pretty close to the action and saw a lot those three days. Three of the 4 scenes we were in, we were within 10 feet of the camera (the "hotel" shot, we were right on as we were hotel guests.

Maureen - 2007 Toronto Film Festival.
He was such a gentleman, kind to everyone. He signed autographs and posed for photos with everyone who waited outside the theatre. He was very funny at the Q & A as well.

Jen - 1986 at Pinkies.
We met at a nightclub in Shepparton Vic called Pinkies. I guess it would have been around 1986 or maybe 87. A couple of weeks earlier Peter O’Brien from Neighbours had made an appearance and a friend and I were sort of stirring him up a bit asking where his “uncle max” was. One of his minders thought that was really funny and ended up buying us a drink. Fast foward two weeks.Guy makes an appearance at the same club. He has the same minder with him as was with Peter.

The guy recognises us and comes over to talk to us and introduces us to Guy. There was probably about 4 or 5 in their group and my friend and I ended up hanging around with them most of the night, drinking and dancing and talking and stuff. They were really top guys and very friendly (but not sleazy at all). Guy was just adorable and so accommodating. It was just a wonderful coincidence that I had my camera with me on the night. A few weeks after that Jason Donovan also turned up for an appearance but he was no where near as friendly and we didn’t really get to speak to him much – he thought he was too good for the general riff raff lol. We had our photo’s taken for the local paper also.
